10th Grade

Health Education

    This course includes studies of the physical, mental, and social aspects of health education. It includes the following areas: (1) consumer health; (2) dental health; (3) environmental health; (4) family life; (5) mental and emotional health; (6) nutrition; (7) personal health; (8) prevention and control of disease; (9) safety and accident prevention; (10) tobacco, alcohol, and other drugs; and (11) CPR. THIS IS A REQUIRED COURSE.

9th-12th Grade

Physical Education

    This introductory physical education course includes a variety of units to enable the student to acquire good sportsmanship, to develop individual and team skills, and to appreciate lifetime recreational activities.

Varsity Athletics

    Varsity Athletics is designed for the student with exceptional athletic ability that wishes to further develop his athletic skills. This course is designed to increase cardio-vascular conditioning, to advance body conditioning and to advance weight training, as related to various individual sports. STUDENTS MUST HAVE WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THIS COURSE.
