11th Grade

Spanish I

    This is the first course in a two-year program designed to teach the basic concepts of the Spanish language. Emphasis is placed on listening comprehension and vocabulary. Basic grammar and sentence order are introduced as an integral part of the study with ample practice opportunities available to develop competence. A realistic view of Spanish culture, history, and influence that represents the life of all socio-economic levels is also included.
 

12th Grade

Spanish II

    This is a continuation of the Spanish I course. In addition to continued emphasis on the development of listening and speaking skills, this course will include the completion of formal grammar study and an introduction to Spanish literature and civilization.
